Themed stays

A Home With a Point of View

Most short-stay rentals are furnished. Ours are designed around an idea, and then run to a standard. A theme is not wallpaper and a name — it is a decision about light, colour, materials and what a guest sees first when they open the door.

How we work

Seven Directions We Build In

Each direction below is a full brief: palette, materials, lighting, and the two or three objects that carry the room. We adapt it to the property — a studio in Cebu and an apartment in Besançon do not get the same version of the same idea.

Jungle and Waterfall themed stay + Jungle & Waterfall Rainforest murals, deep greens, warm lamplight
The main room, bed and living space in oneBathroom, with the waterfall wallKitchen corner and dining nookThe bamboo balcony at night

Wall-to-wall forest scenes, a bamboo balcony and light that turns amber after sunset. Built in a compact studio, so every surface has to earn its place.
Photographed in one of our own units — Saekyung Village, Lapu-Lapu, Cebu.

Tropical Modern themed stay + Tropical Modern Rattan, pale wood, plants, off-white
Living room, open to the kitchenBedroom with garden lightRattan storage and ceramicsWalk-in shower with greenery

Light and airy. Natural fibres, a ceiling fan, greenery in every room. Reads as holiday without tipping into kitsch.

Japandi themed stay + Japandi Blond wood, raw linen, low lines
Low seating, slatted screen, paper lanternBedroom kept deliberately sparseTea set on a linen runnerKitchen with a round oak table

Warm minimalism. Few objects, chosen carefully, and a lot of empty space left on purpose.

Cinema and Deco themed stay + Cinema & Deco Deep velvet, brass, 1930s geometry
Curved velvet sofa and brass tableNavy velvet headboard, indirect lightFluted glass lamp on a veneered sideboardMarble bathroom with a reeded screen

Indirect lighting, strong shapes, a room that feels like the inside of an old theatre.

Nordic Coastal themed stay + Nordic Coastal Blue-grey, white, driftwood, crumpled cotton
Living room in northern lightPanelled bedroom, layered cottonDriftwood and stoneware on oakPale blue kitchen with open shelves

Cool northern light, soft textiles, the sea implied rather than illustrated.

Industrial Loft themed stay + Industrial Loft Brick, black metal, worn leather, tall glazing
Leather and steel behind a crittall screenBedroom against exposed brickWorn leather, wood and brass detailBlack kitchen with a butcher block

Raw materials handled gently. Warmth comes from the leather and the lighting, not from decoration.

Botanical themed stay + Botanical Leaf murals, forest green, terracotta
Green sofa against a painted jungle wallBedroom framed by a botanical muralTerracotta pots and large-leaf plantsGreen-tiled shower room

Wallpaper-scale foliage, deep greens and earthenware. Bolder than Tropical Modern, and it photographs extremely well.

The Jungle & Waterfall photographs are a real unit of ours in Cebu. The other six are design concepts — rendered visuals of what we would build, not apartments you can book today. We label them so nobody arrives to a room that does not match the picture.

Why bother

A Theme Is a Commercial Decision, Not Decoration

It survives the scroll

A guest looks at a listing for a couple of seconds. A room with a clear idea stops the thumb; a beige room does not.

It gets photographed

Guests post the rooms they find striking. That is distribution you do not pay for, and it only happens if there is something worth framing.

It holds its price

When two units are objectively similar, the one with a point of view is not compared on price alone.

None of this works if the place is not clean, the check-in fails, or nobody answers. The theme is the reason someone books; the operation is the reason they come back.

From idea to booking

How a Themed Unit Gets Built

We look at the property

Size, light, orientation, ceiling height, what the windows face. The theme follows the room, not the other way round.

We propose a direction

Palette, materials, the two or three pieces that carry the room, and a budget. You approve before anything is bought.

We build and furnish it

Sourcing, delivery, assembly and installation, handled by our own team on site.

We photograph and list it

Proper photography, a written listing, pricing, and the unit goes live across the platforms and on direct booking.
